The Question
Jangro is one of the largest janitorial equipment suppliers in the UK.
The company uses its network of associated companies to supply cleaning products divided at a regional level. This setup meant that when Jangro approached Piranha, each subsidiary company required its own website.
Our brief was to create a robust, large-scale suite of websites linked to a universal back-end. A client log-in area was also requested, enabling users to order everyday janitorial items with ease.
The Answer
After discussing the client’s requirements, the Piranha web development team decided that a Magento Enterprise build was required.
With Enterprise, multiple store views can share the same product catalogue but alter individual descriptions as well as other page content. This setup was chosen to allow each Jangro member to manage their store separately whilst benefiting from improved security and support.
With a multistore setup managing 24 websites, Jangro’s new Magento build is powerful and ready to go.
